Prof. dr. T. Röckmann is a leading specialist in the development and application of isotope techniques to atmospheric research. He is head of the Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry Group (APCG) at Utrecht University with presently 26 group members. In 2007 he obtained a prestigious VICI grant from NWO. His research group has participated as PI for isotope analysis in numerous EU projects EUROHYDROS, SCOUT-O3, CRYOSTAT, EUPLEX, TROCCINOX and the new European ice-coring project NEEM. T. Röckmann has published 98 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has organized numerous sessions at international conferences. He is scientific editor of the journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics (ACP) and reviewer for many scientific journals, including Nature, Science, GRL, JGR, ACP, Atm. Env., RCM.
